C45 (1.0503) is a kind of high strength carbon quality steel and it is usually used under the condition normalization because the poor hardenability. At high mechanical performance requirements, C45 is using tempering treatment. C45 steel’s properties of cold deformation and plastic is medium and machinability under the condition annealing and normalizing is better than tempering.
